What Elite Pass is, and what it does not claim.
Everything below is published, sourced and free to quote. If you need the underlying tables or a figure checked before you print it, ask and you will get a straight answer.
What it is
Elite Pass is a racing research programme. It reads the whole card every day, records what the evidence supports before the races are run, and settles that record against the exchange afterwards. The point of it is the record, not the result of any one race.
What it is not
This matters more than the first question, and it is the part most likely to be got wrong in a write-up.
- Not a tipping service. No selections are sold and no stakes are advised.
- Not a prediction product. A read is an assessment of evidence, not a forecast of a winner.
- No validated betting edge. None is claimed. Of 227 systems, rules and racing theories examined, 0 have cleared the validation bar.
- A win rate is not a profit rate. The two are separate questions and the research does not bridge them.
If a sentence in your piece would make Elite Pass sound like a way to make money from racing, it has gone wrong somewhere, and we would rather you checked with us than published it.

Favourites
Across 60,671 unique clear Betfair SP favourites, favourites won 35.0% of the time and failed to win 65.0% of the time. The interesting part is not the failure rate. It is that the outcomes broadly tracked the prices the market had already given them. Joint favourites are treated separately and never forced into that binary.

The draw
A familiar racing belief, tested. Draw alone returned a null result in the governed study. Interactions remain open, and an open question is not a finding.
Race shape and pace
These are explainers, not results. They describe why the same horse can face a completely different problem from one race to the next. No predictive claim is attached to either.
Method, in short
Every public number passes a register before it can be printed on this site, and a figure that exists only in an internal note is not publishable. Reads are recorded before the off and settled against Betfair SP afterwards. Nothing is rewritten once the race has run, including the days it went against us.
